Load Cell Barrier Wall

The newest application for TDAS G5 systems rounds out its leading position as the DAS for the entire crash laboratory. Recent research in incompatibility testing has increased interest in load cell barrier walls and MDBs with load cell faces. The load cells are one or three axis sensors designed specifically for the high dynamic forces seen in crash tests. This allows the vehicle designers to analyze load patterns and optimize the vehicle force and crush profile.

DTS has teamed up with the world leader in load cell barrier walls, First Technology Safety & Analysis (FTSA) formerly Thames Side-Maywood (TS-M) to integrate TDAS G5 into crash walls and MDBs. TS-M has designed docking stations directly into the barrier offset block to create iWall. This integrated and intelligent solution allows the user to dock TDAS G5 modules into the wall in seconds. Sensor ID auto-configures the system and the user is ready to go!
